Delete a client
const url = 'https://api2.recruso.co.uk/v1/clients/1';const options = {method: 'DELETE', headers: {Authorization: '<Authorization>'}};
try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data);} catch (error) { console.error(error);}curl --request DELETE \ --url https://api2.recruso.co.uk/v1/clients/1 \ --header 'Authorization: <Authorization>'Permanently deletes one live client in your own agency, together with its client status records.
Unlike sites and site contacts, a client is not soft-deleted and there is no restore. The row is removed, so the delete only succeeds for a client nothing else references.
A client that still has related records — sites, cost centres or bookings — cannot be deleted and returns 400. Remove or reassign those first.
A lead id returns 404; delete leads through DeleteLead. A client id belonging to another agency, or under a branch the Recruso user behind your API app cannot access, also returns 404.
Access. Requires a client-credentials access token. Tokens issued through the interactive user login are rejected.
