Branches

A branch is a physical office or operational unit of an agency. Branches let an agency run geographically distributed operations while remaining one tenant.

  • Each branch belongs to exactly one agency.
  • Each branch has its own clients, and workers are assigned to a branch.
  • A branch inherits agency-level settings such as the work week and holiday rules.
  • Branch metadata covers contact details, location and operational information.

The Recruso user behind your API app has an accessible-branch list. Records under a branch outside that list are not returned, and requesting one by id returns 404 rather than 403 — the API does not disclose the existence of records you cannot see. If a record you expect is missing, check that user’s branch access in the Recruso UI before assuming the id is wrong.

  • One agency has many branches.
  • One branch has many clients, and workers assigned to it.
  • Branches act as the logical grouping for operations and reporting.
