Clients
A client is a company or organisation that engages an agency to supply workers. Clients are managed under a branch, which lets an agency organise them geographically or by business unit.
- Each client belongs to a single branch, and therefore to a single agency. Your credentials reach a client — and everything beneath it — only when its branch is one the user behind your API app can access; see Multi-tenancy. Leads follow the same rule.
- A client can have many sites — the physical locations where work is performed.
- Clients can have several contacts, their own billing and payment terms, and their own invoicing preferences.
- Clients can be categorised, for example as current or archived.
- Restrictions on which workers may be sent — suitable, not suitable, assessed, banned — are set per site, not per client. See Sites.
Where clients sit in the chain
Section titled “Where clients sit in the chain”Bookings, plans and invoices reach a client through its sites. Work is always performed at a site; the client is who gets invoiced for it.
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”The client list supports partial, case-insensitive matching on the client name and an exact match on branch, alongside paging. See the reference for the exact parameters.
