Agencies
An agency is a tenant of Recruso: a recruitment business using the platform to manage its branches, clients, workers and financial operations. Agencies operate independently, with their own data and configuration, and data between them is always isolated.
Why it matters to your integration
Section titled “Why it matters to your integration”The agency is the boundary your credentials sit inside. Your token is issued to an API app that belongs to one agency, and every request is scoped to it — there is no agency parameter to pass and no way to reach another tenant’s records.
Configuration other entities inherit
Section titled “Configuration other entities inherit”An agency defines the operational rules the rest of the system reads:
- Work week structure — for example Monday–Sunday or Sunday–Saturday. This is what “a week” means everywhere in the product; do not assume a calendar week.
- Holiday year and calendar year start dates.
- Holiday caps and compliance rules.
- Regional and payroll settings.
If your integration displays or calculates weekly boundaries, read them from the agency rather than deriving them.
Lifecycle
Section titled “Lifecycle”Agencies are not created, listed or deleted through the API. They are set up by the Recruso onboarding team as part of implementation, which is what guarantees:
- correct tenant isolation from the outset;
- consistent initialisation of default branches, admin users and configuration templates.
If you are integrating for the first time, your agency already exists — it was created during onboarding. From there you use the API to work with everything under it: branches, clients, sites, workers and lookup data.
